Training and security
We value your safety and enjoyment on the trails. We recommend that our clients have adequate fitness and off-road biking experience before participating in our tours and training sessions. Our guides are here to provide you with advice and techniques to maximize your experience safely.
Responsability
FreeBike Guide is committed in providing you an unforgettable experience on the trails. However, please note that our guides absolve themselves of any liability in the event of an accident. We strive to select competent and experienced guides to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
It is imperative that each rider adjusts their speed and remains in control of their bike at all times. No guide will be able to brake on behalf of the riders. By participating in FreeBike Guide's guided tours and training sessions, each rider accepts this individual responsibility and agrees to adhere to the safety instructions provided by the guide.
Equipment's conformity
We kindly ask that the equipment used adheres to the following criteria:
Children aged 5 to 7: For classes, your mountain bikes must be in good condition, either full-suspension or rigid, it doesn't matter.
Children aged 8 to 10: For classes, your mountain bikes must be in good condition, full-suspension. (E-bikes from 16 years old).
Adolescents aged 11 to 14, 15 to 17 years old: For classes or enduro tours, your mountain bikes and E-bikes must be in good condition, full-suspension with a minimum of 120mm of travel at the front and rear. (E-bikes from 16 years old).

Participating in our mountain bike mechanics course with your own equipment offers a more personalized experience and allows you to become familiar with the specifics of your bike directly. Please ensure to bring your mountain bike and usual tools as this will enable you to better understand the procedures on the equipment you regularly use. This will make learning more concrete and allow you to immediately apply your new skills to your own bike.
We emphasize the importance of the condition of personal equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Clients' personal bikes must be in good working order, with almost new brake pads. If specific equipment is required for a particular outing, an email will be sent to the client to inform them of the requirements.
Respecting the nature
We would like to emphasize the importance of respecting nature:
- No litter should be thrown in the mountains.

- Hikers have priority, and their right of way must be respected at all times and in all places.
